FA CUP: Worksop v Carlton - in pictures

Worksop Town marched on in the FA Cup with a preliminary round win over Carlton Town at a rain-soaked Sandy Lane on Sunday.

They did it the hard way, however, coming back from one down in the fifth minute to win the tie 2-1 thanks to Kyle Jordan’s 17th-minute penalty and a goal from Steven Woolley on the half hour.

That was the way it stayed and the 435 inside the ground left having witnessed Tigers move a step closer to Wembley. They have since been drawn away to Nantwich Town in the first qualifying round on September 8th.
