Dinnington dominate against Doncaster

THE Lodge Lane Under 7s fielded two equal teams of eight on Sunday in Doncaster, and clinched two big wins.

Dinnington players were mixed up from their usual teams to give everyone the opportunity to play with other members of the squad.

The first game was a five tries to one win. Teamwork and interpassing is becoming the key to success with both sides and some great tagging stopped Doncaster from getting any momentum.

Try scorers were Harry Pinder (2), Scott Fish (2) and Jack Cully.

In game two Dinnington outscored their hosts six tries to two.

The support play was exceptional with players following the ball carrier to ensure the points were secured.

Tries came from William Cockerham (4), Josh Siddens and Josh Bown.
