Rodgers stars for the Bulldogs, Whiteley wins two for Falcons

There were just three matches in the Gainsborough Table Tennis League Division One this week.

Aces played the Bulldogs and lost 7-3, as Paul Rodgers picked up three wins for the victors.

Bulldogs are currently riding high in the number two spot but they have a lot of work to do to catch the Chunky Monkeys who are nine points clear.

The Aardvarks beat the struggling Beacons 9-1.

Kieran Crawford gained two hard fought victories, and joined John Gazeley for the doubles to win comfortably.

The Dynamics are in the position that games are hard to come by but Ray Lovely manage one when he beat Jacob Marshall in a 9-1 defeat by the top spot Chunky Monkeys.

In Division Two the Kestrels beat the Falcons but did not have it all their own way as Chis Whitely picked up two good wins and joined Hayden Denman to take the doubles as his side went down 7-3.

Wizard Kevan Birkett won his usual three but couldn’t stop Dynaomos who won 7-3.
