Retford Wheelers brave sub zero temperatures to start 2015 Strava League
Despite sub zero temperatures, Retford and District Wheelers had a brisk 30 mile ride around North Notts and South Yorkshire villages on Sunday before a new year rendezvous with other cycling clubs at the Broom Wagon cafe in Retford.
The club’s ‘Strava League’ is, just four days into the new year, showing some determination by certain riders to improve on their previous years performances.
Andy Coop-Mann heads the leaderboard for the week ending on Sunday with 108.3km.
This Sunday’s 50 mile ride will be to Saxilby, where there will be a cafe stop. Both groups should meet in Retford market square at 9.30am.
