If anyone witnesses this the environment agency number is 0800 807060 and they would like you to report the offence, location, how many perpetrators are involved as well as descriptions and registration details of any vehicles.

CLUB RESULT

GREYHOUND AC held a competition on the match lake at Mill Dam near Girton.

In top spot was Russ Brown on peg 21 weighing 69lb on pole and pellet with Phil Moore in the runners-up with 51lb 5oz on peg 10 using the same method as the winner.

Dave Robinson landed 26lb 12oz to claim third on peg 1 with bomb fished pellet.

AT Lakeside Fishery, Ranskill, Danny Challener triumphed in Wednesday’s open on the match lake landing 39lb 12oz of silvers on peg 4 pole fishing maggot.

On Saturday the 10th and final round of the winter league took place with Mick Shaw winning on peg 25 weighing 47lb 10oz on pole fished caster.

Garry Brooks ran out the winner in the series with 12 points to retain the title.

On Sunday the R&R Spring league saw Phil Morgan fishing pole and caster on peg 9 for 52lb 6oz to claim the win.

On the second strip lake DJ. Angling held a knock-up with Paul Richardson leading the way with 69lb 8oz on peg 1 taken on pole and pellet.

On the carp lake Garry Croft banked seven specimens including three 20s topped by a common of 24lb 2oz from peg 3 using cell boilies.

Garry Atkins cast his black suspender buzzers on a floating line to tept 15 fish to an impressive 8lb with John Wilson slipping his net under 12 fish which fell to his various damsels on a sinking line.

At Riverside Terry Pixley ran out the winner in Tuesday’s open on peg 43 with 37lb 8oz on feeder fished meat.

John Bleakley was second with 24lb 9oz on bomb fished meat.

Wednesday saw Pete Ware win pole fishing pellet on peg 30 for 36lb 13oz with Brian Robinson in the runners-up position on peg 8 with 17lb 10oz on pole fished sweet corn.

Friday saw Dave Evans top the field on peg 43 with 36lb on waggler fished pellet with Tony Morris claiming second spot with 24lb 9oz on pole fished pellet off peg 34.

At Lodge Farm in Tuesday’s open on long island Andy Hill weighed 57lb from peg 85 on pole fished caster, with Steve Bingham in the runners-up position with 32lb 6oz from peg 88 using the method feeder.

Wednesday’s over 50s on the signal pond was won by Mel Kirton on peg 4 employing the pellet feeder for 67lb 12oz.

Jez Lithsey was second on peg 9 weighing 50lb 9oz on the method feeder.

Thursday on the signal saw Andy Hill win on peg 17 using the method feeder for 65lb 4oz, ahead of Craig Crosby who fished the wag and mag for 55lb 10oz on peg 14.

On Saturday on the top pond Glen Turner triumphed on peg 34 with the pellet feeder weighing 51lb.

Joshua Wylde in second on peg 42 weighed 47lb 15oz pole fishing pellet or corn.

Over at Sutton at the Wetlands fishery the weights are on the up, with Colin Brown needing 57lb to claim the win in Saturday’s open.

D. Death weighed 56lb 2oz.

In Sunday’s event S. Walker won with 54lb 14oz with P. Cooper second with a net of 54lb14oz.

Monday saw Carl Brown take 103lb 12oz, Whitwell’s Andy Lakey taking 68lb 14oz for second.
