Ranby time trial for Hazard
RETFORD Wheelers all rounder Alan Hazard competed in the JE James 25-mile time trial on the Ranby course last weekend, recording 58.51.
Elsewhere Glenn Allison did a solid ride in Round One of the Notts and Derby Cyclo Cross League at Hilton near Derby, finishing 72nd out of 179 competitors.
Retford and District Wheelers provide an alternative club run for members who wish to ride at a more leisurely pace.

This group will be riding to Sandtoft on Sunday, 45 miles on a flat route.
The main club run will be to Teversal, 60 miles over hilly terrain.
Both groups meet at 9.00am in Retford market square.
Welsh womens cyclist Crystal Lane, currently resident in Retford, represented GB in the Paracycling World Championships in Denmark last week and in her debut outing at this level of competition secured a Road Race bronze.
