THE LIQUIDATOR
Exeter 5.00 WIN
I suspect West Country trainer Jeremy Scott could be heading for a profitable afternoon at Exeter, courtesy of exciting novice hurdlers MELODIC RENDEZVOUS and KILMURVY.
But for the day’s nap, it’s probably safer to rely on David Pipe’s highly regarded five-year-old in the concluding Bumper.
The son of Overbury finished second in one of the best Irish Bumpers of last season, at Fairyhouse in April, and was subsequently bought for £100,000 by high-profile owner Roger Brookhouse. The gelding was runner-up again on his UK debut at Cheltenham in November, but it will be a surprise if he can’t make it third time lucky today.
