Parish School are football champions

Parish Church School recently celebrated their first sporting success of the academic year when they became Large Schools Seven-a-side Football Champions for this season.

New teacher and football manager Mr J. Anderson was delighted that the team had found their feet so quickly. “This team and I have only been training together for the past few weeks, so to gain runners-up in the overall competition and be the best Large School is all credit to the players.”

“Our brand of attacking football and short passing skills are a delight to see and the signs look good for the future. Parish has a long history of sporting excellence and we will do all we can this year to maintain a high level of participation, sportsmanship and achievement.”
