Major success for Street Kickboxing Club Worksop at the Arnold Sports Festival!
Street Kickboxing Club Worksop is celebrating once again.
Two of the club’s standout representatives competed in the prestigious Arnold Sports Festival, held from March 27th to 29th at the NEC in Birmingham.

Organised in collaboration with the WKO (World Kickboxing Organisation), the event is widely recognised as the world’s largest multi-sport festival.
Within the Combat section, athletes competed across both rings and mats. The prestige of the tournament was further heightened by the presence of Arnold Schwarzenegger himself, whom our local fighters had the incredible opportunity to see in person.

The Worksop-based fighters showcased world-class skill, returning from Birmingham with an impressive haul of medals:
Liliana Gronkiewicz (13), who studies at The Outwood Academy Valley, proved her incredible versatility in combat sports, securing three medals: a gold in kickboxing, a gold in boxing and a silver medal in low kick.
Alexander Owczarek. from Outwood Post 16 Centre Worksop, also reached the podium in highly competitive categories, earning gold in K-1 and bronze in Boxing.
These trophies are the direct result of immense discipline from the young athletes and professional preparation. Behind this success are coaches Artur Gronkiewicz and Robert Gronkiewicz, who, along with the entire Street Kickboxing Club Worksop team, ensured the fighters were in peak condition for the rings and mats of Birmingham.
