Worksop College Junior Parkrun is a free, weekly 2km event for children aged between four and 14.
Organisers have planned an Easter-themed run on Sunday, April 17 to coincide with the 100th event milestone.
They are inviting as many of the 218 volunteers that have donated their time to help make sure that the event is run safely to come along so they can be thanked for their efforts.
This event is aimed at children who may not want to run a distance of 5km and those taking part can walk, jog or run the route.
It is also designed to help youngsters build up to the full 5km Parkrun distance.
Sarah Godfrey, event director at Worksop College Junior Parkrun, said: "Come along in fancy dress, put on your Easter bonnet and enjoy our 100th event.
"We will be handing out chocolate eggs – fruit will also be available - to all who take part.
“We run this every Sunday, it’s a really great way to get children into exercise without the pressure of times of where they finish.
"We have a great group of volunteers who help to make this happen too.”
The warm-up begins at 8.55am at Worksop College, Cuthberts Avenue, on April 17.
To join the event, simply register for a barcode on the main Parkrun Website, and bring this along to each week.
