Open table tournament
THE Worksop Table Tennis league are holding a ‘Bassetlaw Games’ event on 16th June.
Two tables will be running on the Civic Square in the town, from 8.30am until 4pm, to promote the sport in Worksop, with members of the public encouraged to have a go.
A league spokesman told the Guardian: “We need volunteers to demonstrate our sport and have knocks with the general public throughout the day.”
“Any player who could help with just an hour or all day would be appreciated.”
