New cycle club meets
The second outing of the year saw Gainsborough’s newest cycling club, the Ladybirds, covering 13 miles on mountain bikes on Tuesday 10th January, heading out from town to Morton and onwards through Wildsworth.
The second outing of the year saw the largest team contingent of eight members and a welcome return to Gainsborough’s citizen of the year, Pete McDonold.
The route was led by Nigel Burton who pushed on in relative isolation for several miles while the remaining team chatted some distance behind.
The Ladybirds cycle every Tuesday night starting at 6pm from Nelson Street, collecting en route down to Morton.
Anyone is welcome to attend but obviously lights are needed until summer.
