Westwood to warm up for Masters at Shell Houston Open, while Foster secures best result of 2015 so far in Morocco

Lee Westwood warms up for the first major of 2015 this weekend, at the Shell Houston Open in Humble, Texas.

The Worksop golfer will hope to break his major duck next week at the Masters at Augusta.

But first up is a tournament in which he finished in a tie for 17th last season.

His best Shell Houston Open performance came in 2018, when he took a share off eighth.

Westwood will tee off on Thursday alongside Americans Kevin Kisner andHudson Swafford.

Fellow Worksop export Mark Foster, meanwhile, enjoyed his best result of 2015 so far at the Trophee Hassan IIat Golf du Palais Royal in Morocco.

Foster finished in a tie for 14th, four shots behind winner Richie Ramsay.

Rounds of 73, 72, 71 and a stellar 66 on the final day left him six under par for the tournament.

The top 20 result, his first of the year, leaves his prize money for 2015 standing at €56,277.
