Eric Neiley fancies showing what he can do over a full season at Sheffield Steelers.
The feisty forward will line up against Nottingham Panthers tonight, in the Play Off semi finals, hoping his team can finish the season on a high.
Neiley came in half way through the season and has played in 29 domestic games and three in the Continental Cup.
He says he has enjoyed his first campaign in European hockey and the team had been proud to finish third in the League, after overcoming a host of injuries.
Neiley, who scored two important points in the quarter final second leg against Guildford Flames, said he'd like to return to Sheffield, adding: "The fans have been great to me."
In the last four games, the 26-year-old American has scored six goals and two assists.
