Toft Newton Reservoir: 54 rods caught 312 trout, giving an impressive rod average of 5.8.
Numerous anglers returned from the bank with double figure catches as the rainbows went on the feed.
Best methods have been either floating lines teamed with small nymphs such as Diawl Bachs, Hares Ear and Cruncher with Booby on the point. Fish are feeding close in so the key is to fish 2-3 rod lengths out, casting at an angle along the shoreline.
The Iain Barr 2015 World Bank Master Championship will take place at Toft on Sunday 29th March.
