Worksop’s Spencer Racing were at Brands Hatch in Kent over the weekend competing in the Classic Racing Motorcycle Club’s Championship July round.
With three of the regular Spencer riders out of action due to other commitments, it was down to Whitwell’s Terry Brocklehurst and Nottingham’s Ervin Wallace to represent the Spencer team.
Brocklehurst and Wallace were out on identical Yamaha FZ600s in the Junior Production class, Wallace coming home first for Spencer, racing in each of the four races, closely followed by eight-times CRMC champion Brocklehurst.
Brocklehurst was also racing a 325cc Suzuki in the Aircooled 500cc class and took a win and a second place in this class.

Regular Spencer riders, Steve Panter, Martin ‘Digga’ Dyke and Jenny Westwood will be racing for the team at the Donington Park round.
