Dinnington Rugby Club played host to their annual junior rugby festival on Sunday, with hundreds of youngsters aged seven to 12 involved.
Teams from across the region took part at the Lodge Lane ground.
The event was organised by Dave Brothwell.
He told the Guardian: “It was a fantastic day, the biggest we’ve done.”
“We had eight teams in each age group, I’ve never seen so many smiley faces.”
The hosts won the Under 8s and Under 11s cups.
Bluebell Wood and local dance groups were also involved in the event.
Dinnington now look forward to their schools tournament, with 14 local schools entering teams for a ‘tag world cup’ for Year 5 pupils.
The tournament takes place on 22nd May.
