Worksop Dolphins celebrated a successful year in the pool, with their annual presentation night at North Notts Arena last Friday night.
The night was attended by the talented youngsters who have represented the club in many galas and races during the season.
Awards were presented by Notts Amateur Swimming Association president Bill Hopkins.
Taking home age group category prizes were Lucy Conry, Lucy Gratton, Millie Drysdale, Holly Anderson, Lucy Ambrose, Hannah Taylor, Megan Berridge, Jenson Payne, Marik Goodwin, Matthew Lamkin, Luke Higginbottom, Nathan Pogson, Charlie Humphries and Alex Hunter.
Coaches’ awards went to Jack Caldwell and Ellie Smeeton.
There was also special recognition for the achievements of a trio of young Dolphins.
Lucy Ambrose, Joe Seage and Charlie Humphries all gained positions on the England swim camp.
Humphries is also the current national open water swimming champion for his age category.
Unfortunately Seage was unable to attend the presentation, as he was in action at Ponds Forge in national qualifying rounds.
A club spokesperson told the Guardian it was a fitting end to the season.
“It was a fantastic night, well attended, and the swimmers had a chance to dress up for a change and dance into the night.”
The Dolphins will hope to gain further success at next week’s Bassetlaw Sports Awards, where the likes of Seage have previously picked up district awards for their swimming achievements.
