Leicester Tigers bring rugby camp to Worksop College

Leicester Tigers, the 10-time champions of English rugby, will bring their rugby camps to Worksop College for the first time this half-term.

Tigers coaches will pass on some of the expert tips that have made them the most successful team in professional rugby at the week-long camp.

Tigers Rugby Camps give players who are playing contact rugby in the Under 9s to Under 16s age groups the chance to experience top quality rugby coaching.

The camp runs from 27th to 31st October and places are available.

There is also a three half-day tag rugby camp for younger players.

The camps run closely to the Tigers Academy and youth rugby programme.

Coaching is provided by Tigers community coaching team alongside some of Tigers top senior Academy coaches and players past and present, including former captain and head coach Ian Smith, ex hooker Troy Thacker and two-time Heineken Cup winner Glenn Gelderbloom.

Each player will also receive a match ticket to an allocated home game, a hot lunch, a Tigers Rugby Camp T-shirt, rugby ball and drinks bottle and free membership to the Junior Tigers Club.
