Worksop golfer Mark Foster is in Germany this week, for the BMW International Open.
The event is taking place at Gut Lärchenhof in Cologne, and Foster was due to tee off on Thursday morning.
Compatriot Matthew Baldwin and Irishman Damien McGrane were Foster’s playing partners, and they got underway at 7.50am BST.
It’s been a tough few weeks for the Worksop Golf Club export, since he finished tied for 26th at the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth.
Foster has missed three successive cuts, at the Nordea Masters in Sweden, the Lyoness Open powered by Greenfinity in Austria and last weekend’s Irish Open atFota Island Resort, County Cork.
A two over par first round of 73 saw him drop shots at the fourth, fifth and sixth, before a birdie at the final hole.
In round two, Foster was more consistent, with a birdie and bogey on both the front and back nines leaving him level for the day but outside the cut line by two shots.
The event was won by Mikko Ilonen by a shot, from Edoardo Molinari.
