Lee Westwood will be hoping home comfort helps him to a first title of 2015 this weekend in Florida.

The Worksop golfer now resides at Palm Beach Gardens, the venue for the Honda Classic.

Last year Westwood finished with a share of 46th place, and his best finish came in 2012 when he was fourth on the leaderboard.

Chad Campbell and Chad Collins will play alongside the 41-year-old, teeing off at 11.45am GMT on Thursday.

With a break of almost three weeks since his last event, Westwood has been hard at work in the gym and looks in top shape ahead of a busy couple of months.

A concerted effort to improve his fitness helped the Worksop Golf Club export rise to number one in the world rankings in 2010, and he insists he has another charge in him.

The world’s number 27 player said: “I genuinely believe I’m going to play some great golf in the forthcoming years and get back to where I was a few years ago”
