Worksop Harriers sent five athletes to the scenic off-road Swaledale Marathon, which follows parts of the Dales Way.
This popular event is now in its 36th year, and the Harriers were led home by John Shepherd.

The Harriers also continue to perform well in their first foray into the Northern Track and Field League for quite a few years.
This is a senior league in which each club can score an ‘A’ and ‘B’ athlete in each event and although it is a senior competition the clubs are able to field under 17s and under 20s along with veteran athletes.
The second meeting in the league was held at the Princess Mary Stadium, Cleckheaton and once again the Harriers team finished in third place, but still within touch of a promotional second place.
