TERRY Brocklehurst was in red-hot form at a cold Knockhill race circuit in Scotland at the weekend.
The Whitwell racer, on board the Worksop based ‘Spencer Racing’ Suzuki machine, stormed to four wins from four Classic Racing Motorcycle Club races, setting lap records all the way.
Terry, the project engineer for Penny Hydraulics at Clowne, was selected by the commentating team to receive the prestigious ‘Rider of the Meeting’ award for his consistent performances and victories.
The bike Terry rides is owned by local woman Susannah Spencer, who told the Guardian: “Terry rode brilliantly all weekend.”
“But a lot of the credit must go to top tuner Lea Gourlay of Hodthorpe who pulled out all the stops to get a new crankshaft built in time for the Knockhill race meeting.”
The next race meeting for Terry and Spencer Racing is at Brands Hatch, in Kent.
