Without a game last weekend, Dinnington Rugby Club slipped to fifth in North East One.
Wins for both Percy Park and Rochdale in their catch-up games saw them leapfrog the Lodge Lane men.
But on Saturday Dinnington have a good chance of making a piece of club history as they travel to Sheffield looking for their first ever victory over the former premier rugby club.
Sheffield remain top of the division by six points from second placed Ilkley, but have been far from impressive in recent games, winning by the narrowest of margins.
When the two sides met earlier in the season, an error-strewn performance by Dinnington failed to threaten Sheffield so they will be hoping for a much-improved effort this time.
Saturday’s match at Sheffield’s Abbeydale Park will kick off at 2.15pm.
