The Great Yorkshire Wineathlon saw Clowne Road Runners’ ladies turn out in force to support the charity event in aid of the Laura Crane Trust.
With no encouragement needed, the ladies all dressed up as ‘Where’s Wally’ providing much amusement throughout the day.
Starting at Thurstonland, Huddersfield, the course was a nine mile undulating but scenic route and along the way were four wine stations, each providing a sample of wine from a different region of the world.
Taking part were Deborah Leese, Emma Mackie, Gemma Hind, Helen Worsfold, Jackie Robson, Jane Aram, Julie White, Karen Shipman, Louise Lowe, Lynn Hazelton, Samantha Coleclough and Suzanne Leusby.
Clowne Road Runner Mark Baldwin achieved a new personal best at Mansfield Parkrun, coming home in 17th position in a time of 20:57.
