There is little to report in the third week of the Gainsborough and District Table Tennis League season due to matches not being played because of illness and scorecards not being handed in.
In Division One Blitz Club Chunky Monkeys put up a good display to overcome stablemates Bulldogs 6-4 and they now occupy top position in the table.
Paul Johnson was unbeaten for Chunky Monkeys and his brother Steve won two,
Chris Gamble claimed a good victory in the last rubber of the match to clinch the win for his team.
The only other match in this division was the first at this level for Blues Club Dynamics against the experienced Liberal Branch Meteors.
It was the Meteors who powered to a 9-1 victory to go third in the table.
For Dynamics, Ray Lovely claimed their one success when he got the better of his opponent in the ninth rubber.
It was a similar story in Division Two, with only two matches being played.
