A pair of Worksop brothers have been rewarded for several years of hard martial arts training, with the award of black belt status.
Nathan and Regan Langley attend the BKKA karate classes at Sandy Lane Community Centre on Thursday evenings, and after eight years, they both reached a huge landmark in November.
Nathan, 14, and Regan, 13, took on a full day of grading tests in Chesterfield, and earned their first Dan black belts.
Proud mum Liz Langley lauded their dedication, and insists they aren’t resting on their laurels.
“Both boys worked extremely hard to earn their black belts and a place in the national black belt register,” she said.
“They now plan to carry on training to achieve their second degree black belt.”
