Lee Westwood hoping to continue fine Omega Dubai Desert Classic record this weekend

Lee Westwood will hope to continue his long and distinguished record of top 10 finishes at this weekend's Omega Dubai Desert Classic.

The Worksop man hasn’t won the event, in any of his 20 appearances, but he has finished runner-up three times, had five top fives and nine top 10 finishes.

Westwood tees off on Thursday at Emirates Golf Club in Dubai alongside fellow Englishman Ross Fisher and Sweden’s Kristoffer Broberg at 11.45am from the 10th hole.
