It’s close in Calcutta cup games

THE quarter-finals of the Gainsborough and District Table Tennis League Calcutta Cup (team handicap) competition have taken place and they produced some good competitive table tennis.

Blitz Bunnies were unable to field a full team so had to concede to stablemates Dingos, while GYM Batmen proved too good for Blues Club Kestrels and beat them without the handicap.

Blues Phoenix had a hard game against Liberal Meteors but with the help of a 125-point handicap they won by one point.
