A wet and muddy course, largely flat over five and a bit miles, made an interesting introduction to cross country for some club members, with the Harriers making its club debut in the series.

Amy Ogden led the Worksop ladies home, finishing in the top five,.

Tim Doughty was the first Harrier to cross the line, taking 11th place.

The next race in the Inter Club series is the Worksop Harriers’ home race on Sunday 19th January.

This time the course will be anything but flat, as the runners race around Manton Pit Wood.
