Harriers in great start to League
The men and boys are third, while the girls are sixth going into the second meeting.
A Harriers spokesman told the Guardian why the club value the league: “It is an important league for the club as it enables everyone from under 11s all the way through to veteran members to compete together in the same competition.”
The next meeting is also at Grantham on 19th May.

In the North Lincolnshire half marathon, held at Scunthorpe in rather windy conditions, the Harriers finished as follows: Richard Hind (113th, 1:31:34, PB), David Wass (175th, 1:34:56), Jonathan Stott (207th, 1:36:49), Craig Cooper (242nd, 1:38:35), Adele Bryan (290th, 1:41:01, PB), John Bradshaw (309th, 1:42:06).
There were 863 finishers.
Junior members train from 5pm to 6.30pm on Wednesdays .
Seniors train every Tuesday and Thursday at 6:15pm.
All the sessions are held at at Manton Club on Retford Road in Worksop.
