Goulding wins again

Sunday’s match at Fourways Fishery took place in sunny and calm conditions and all anglers caught in what was a hard day to attract the larger carp.

The water always fishes better with a ripple on it, but instead there was a flat calm and bright sun.

However, this did not deter Everton’s Joe Goulding who won once again.

Fishing peg 22 (a drawn peg match) Joe managed 16-6. Relegated to second place was Broughton’s Ken East with 15-4 on peg 24. Newcomer Paul Vardy of Doncaster took third on peg 30 with 11-9. Pools not won.

The next Open is on Sunday 1st April, draw noon, fishing 1pm-7pm. Please note new match times - tese will be will be in place all summer.
