Westwood sacks coach after major disappointment
Lee Westwood’s manager has announced the Worksop golfer has split from coach Pete Cowen and his interim caddie.
The decision was made in the wake of a disappointing USPGA Championship for the 39-year-old, who failed to make the cut in South Carolina.
Chubby Chandler admitted it was time for a change and said Westwood had ‘lost his focus and his enthusiasm’.
