VIDEO: Hole in one at the 144th Open, Westwood makes cut, Willett drops to second
The America birdied the 18th as play resumed in the evening after a frustrating day for all involved, taking top spot on the leaderboard by a shot to leave Sheffield’s Danny Willett second.
High winds forced the players off the course after around 30 minutes play this morning, with many golfers yet to finish their second round.

The 42-year-old double bogeyed the 16th, and dropped another shot at 17 to sit level par for the tournament.
He went up 18 knowing another bogey would see him miss the cut.
But despite leaving a chip for an eagle well short, and missing the subsequent birdie putt, he made his par and will join the 77 other players at even or better in the third round.
