Lee Westwood Junior Championship 2012 launched

EIGHTY places are up for grabs in the 2012 Lee Westwood Junior Golf Championship.

And Lee Westwood will be on hand to present the prizes, sign autographs and pose for pictures with budding golf stars.

Worksop Golf Club secretary Alan Mansbridge told the Guardian: “We’re looking forward to hosting the juniors again, and of course Lee will be there.”

“The greenkeepers have got the course looking incredible and it should be a great day.”

Guardian sports editor Graham Smyth added: “This is the fifth year I’ve been involved with the event, and I hope that we fill all 80 places.”

“I look forward to seeing the area’s junior stars on 23rd July.”

Top prizes will again be supplied by PING.

To enter the 15th annual event, simply buy this week’s Worksop or Dinnington Guardians, fill in the coupon and attach the £10 entry fee and send to the Worksop Guardian offices, as per the instructions on the coupon.
