Foster ends season with top 10 finish in Hong Kong

Mark Foster ended his 2012 season with a top 10 finish in the UBS Hong Kong Open at the Hong Kong Golf Club in Fanling last week.

The Worksop golfer opened with a round of 69, one under par with five birdies and four bogies putting him in 28th place.

Another five birdies on day two with three bogies gave him a 68 and moved him up to 13th spot going into the weekend.

On Saturday just three birdies and one bogey kept him in a share of 13th place.

And for the third day running he produced a 68 on Sunday with four birdies and two bogies for a final total of 273, seven under par and a share of 10th place.

This result saw him finish the season in 70th place on the Race to Dubai and he stands in 166th place in the World Rankings.

The European Tour’s season finale is in Dubai this week, where the top 60 players will battle for the top prize and Lee Westwood will be in the field.
