Gainsborough: Trinity announce Buxton fixture in place of cancelled Sheffield Wednesday game
Gainsborough Trinity have announced that announce that they will now play Buxton at the Northolme on Friday night (25th July, kick-off 7.45pm) in place of the cancelled game against Sheffield Wednesday.
“Our manager Steve Housham has worked hard behind the scenes to arrange this game and it will give fans the opportunity to see one more pre-season game which seemed to have disappeared when Sheffield Wednesday cancelled at very short notice,” said secretary David Tinsley.
“The directors are grateful to Steve for making this possible and look forward to another good performance from the team after the match against Scunthorpe which finished in a narrow 2-1 defeat for Trinity against a very strong side.”
