Page finished with figures of 3-5 and Orton 3-9 as Mansfield’s batting crumbled, Andrew Slater also getting in on the act with two wickets.

In reply, Lea Park lost four wickets but Ed Cooke hit an unbeaten 32 to see them home at 68-4.

The result was made sweeter for Lea Park by the news of local rivals and league leaders Roses defeat at Sherwood Colliery.

Roses looked on course when they bowled out the home side for 142 with Mick Newton claiming 3-10.

But Graham Clay (49) was the only Roses batsman to fire in reply as they were bundled out for 106 by Paul Wright (3-24) and Phil Stanley (3-28) to lose by 36 runs.

Roses remain top of the league but their advantage has been cut to 22 points by Lea Park, who are second, two points clear of third-placed Edwinstowe 2nd.
