Gainsborough: Halstead heads the Aegir finishers

Gainsborough Aegir cycling Club’s 10 mile time trial was a close run event with seconds between the Aegir members.

In the end, Trevor Halstead just held off Rob Noble to win by three seconds and only 19 seconds separated the riders between third and 11th places.

Aegir Results: 1. Trevor Halstead 29.18), 2. Rob Noble 29.21), 3. George Carnall (29.40), 4. Pete Comerford (29.51), 5. James Green (30.22). Non-club members results: 1. Matt Hindmarsh (23.09), 2. Andy Lewin (23.14), 3. Liam Hindmarsh 24.01), 4. Steve Brown (31.20).

Tonight (Thursday), the club holding a treasure hunt, meeting at the Eight Jolly Brewers in Gainsborough at 6.30pm.

On Sunday, 27th July there is a leisure ride to Messingham. Meet Roseway in Gainsborough at 9.50am.
