Only four weeks remain to nominate local clubs and individuals for their achievements and dedication in the past year.

The event will take place at Worksop College on Friday 5th December, but all nominations must be in by 3rd November.

This year’s categories include Junior and Senior Volunteers and Sports Club of The Year.

Last year’s Junior Volunteer category was won by Toby Sanderson for his dedication and time given to Retford Swimming Club.

This year Retford Swimming Club have won a national award for the way they develop and support volunteers in the club.

The award was presented by Prince Edward on behalf of The Sport and Recreation Alliance at a ceremony in St James Palace in July.

Do you know a sports club or junior or senior sports volunteer to match the fantastic work being carried out at Retford Swimming Club?
