Recent flooding caused somewhere in the region of £250,000 damage to the i2i Stadium and with their floodlights apparently out of action, Tadcaster will instead host Tigers at Selby Town’s ground.

NCEL officials were due to inspect the i2i Stadium this afternoon, with concerns raised over the safety of both the pitch and the facilities after the floods that devastated the town of Tadcaster.

Contaminated sewage and flood water caused serious damage to the clubhouse, and presumably called into question the suitability of the playing surface.

Worksop Town are currently top of the table, five points ahead of Tadcaster who have three games in hand.
