Worksop Town have added a trio of youngsters to their squad, including a defender released by Nottingham Forest and a teenage striker let go by Sheffield United.

Kieran Fenton and Owen Clarke are new faces to the club, while Connor Johnson, who featured for Tigers last season, has rejoined after being released by Belper Town.

Fenton, 21, is a centre half who was released by Nottingham Forest at the end of last season.

The former England Under 19 international spent some time on loan with Tamworth while a Forest player.

Clarke turned 16 just last week, but over the last couple of months has impressed during training with the Worksop Town first team, after his time with League One Sheffield United came to an end.

And Johnson is a 20-year-old left sided midfielder and full-back, who Worksop fans will remember from his first spell last season.

He initially joined the club on dual registration with Grantham Town, and then left in the summer.

Johnson, a former Rotherham United prospect, has also played for Garforth Town and been on the books at Gainsborough Trinity.

Tigers are without a game in midweek, but return to action on Saturday when they visit Liversedge.
