The 24-year-old only signed for the Tulips in January, scoring on his debut, but he has since fallen out of favour at the Hayley Stewart Football Ground.

A well travelled player, Davies includes Blackstones, St Neots - where he won a league title - King’s Lynn Town, Aylesbury United, Loughborough Dynamo, Holbeach United and Radcliffe Olympic in his former clubs.

It was while he was at Radcliffe that Worksop Town boss Mark Shaw first tried to sign the forward.

Shaw said: “He’s a good attacking wide forward who I have known about for some years.

“We lost out on him to Spalding, which was disappointing, around a month and a half ago, so I’m pleased once he became available he was willing to come to us.”

Davies could be in line for a debut when Worksop Town host Bridlington Town this Saturday.
