Trinity’s winning streak continues

GAINSBOROUGH Trinity’s 100 per cent record under caretaker boss Steve Housham continued on Saturday, as they beat Bishop Stortford on the Northolme.

The 4-2 victory made it five wins from five for Housham and the Blues.

Gavin Cowan put Trinity ahead on 20 minutes with the only goal of the first half.

Darryn Stamp made it 2-0 eight minutes after the break and although the visitors hit back through a Michale Bakare goal, Ryan Williams secured the win with his 76th minute effort.

Bakare got his second of the game with nine minutes remaining, only for Stamp to add a fourth for the Blues in injury time.
