Trinity lose out at Worcester

GAINSBOROUGH Trinity missed out on the chance to go third in the Blue Square Bet North table as they lost 2-1 at Worcester last night.

Steve Housham’s men would have gone from fifth to top three with a victory, but despite taking a first half lead through Ryan Kendall on 30 minutes, two second half goals condemned them to defeat.

The hosts hit back through Mike Symons and got a winner on 72 minutes from Greg Mills.

The result will have frustrated Housham, who saw his men clinch an impressive 3-2 victory on Saturday over second-placed Nuneaton.
