TRINITY held in FA Cup

GAINSBOROUGH Trinity face a replay in their quest to put together an FA Cup run, after a draw at Fylde today.

Steve Housham’s men were held 2-2 by the Evo-Stik side in the second qualifying round tie, despite going 2-0 up.

Ryan Kendall scored the game’s opener on 16 minutes, before Darryn Stamp made it 2-0 six minutes later.

But the hosts came back, Michael Barnes netting on 39 minutes.

And the comeback was complete in the second half as Richard Allen levelled for AFC Fylde.
