Tricky run-in for Worksop Town

WORKSOP Town face the trickiest of run-ins, with clashes against a number of title hopefuls in the final stages of the 2012/13 season.

The Evo-Stik Northern Premier League fixtures were released today, and Tigers will begin the campaign away at Ashton United on 18th August.

North Ferriby United are the first visitors to Sandy Lane on Wednesday 22nd August, before Witton Albion come to Worksop on 25th.

On Boxing Day Tigers will host Grantham Town and they travel to former landlords Ilkeston FC on New Year’s Day.

The final six games of the season are perhaps the most vital to Worksop Town’s promotion hopes.

They begin April by hosting Ilkeston, travel to Blyth Spartans and then play at home to Chorley.

A visit to FC United of Manchester is followed by the visit of AFC Fylde in the final game of the season.
