Tigers will play at Sandy Lane if authorities sanction deal

Worksop Town will be playing at Sandy Lane next season, if the footballing authorities ratify their agreement with P&M Leisure.

Tigers signed a one-year lease with the ground’s leaseholders this week, after a few weeks of negotiations.

The FA and the Evo-Stik League now have to approve the deal, and once sanctioned it will be formally confirmed that Tigers’ home games will remain at the ground they once owned.

It will be the fourth season at Sandy Lane, since they returned in 2011.

P&M Leisure boss Pete Whitehead bought the lease, and has had both Tigers and his Parramore FC side playing home games there.
