Tigers face an in-form FC side in crucial Evo-Stik play-off tie

Saturday’s game at Gigg Lane, Bury, may be looked back on as one of the biggest of the season for Tigers, but boss Mark Shaw isn’t viewing it that way just yet.

Looking ahead to the clash of play-off contenders, he said: “I expect FC United to try and control the ball, pass the ball and be sharp.”

“They are on a good run at the moment, it is a clash of two sides looking for the play-offs”

“It is too early to be thinking about it being the biggest game of the season so far, it’s just a game we have to go and win and get three points.”

“We have to go there with the thought of winning the game and getting something positive from it.”
