Worksop Town returned to the top of the NCEL Premier as they cruised to a 4-0 win over a poor Parkgate side.
An early brace from in-form Kyle Jordan and second half goals from Mitch Husbands and Andy Ofosu did the damage, with Jon Kennedy in the Tigers net only having to make one routine save.
A slip by former Tiger Scott Lowe almost put Jordan in on goal, keeper Ben Brunt reaching the ball half a second before the striker, in the best chance of the opening minutes.
Oliver Graham looked like Parkgate’s dangerman, twisting and turning to draw a foul from Jack Waddle on the very edge of the box, Lowe sending the free-kick wide of the target.
The home side went ahead on 11 minutes, when their first piece of slick passing completely unlocked the Parkgate back line, Waddle got in on goal and although Brunt got something on the shot, Kyle Jordan was on hand to make sure from two yards.
Two minutes later they were two to the good, thanks to some beautiful counter attacking football.
Jake Scott got the ball in his own half, strode forward and found the run of Steve Woolley, who had burst down the right in time to take the pass and square for Jordan to roll in his second.
Another Woolley cut back gave Jordan a sight of his third, but the 20-yard shot was straight at Brunt.
Parkgate steadied the ship and grew into the game once more, Daniel Abdulla with a real chance to level things when the ball reached him in the box from a long throw only to blast high and wide.
Conor Higginson had a half shout for a penalty when he turned too quickly for a defender, and jinked away from Brunt only to go down over a Parkgate boot - the referee unmoved.
The second half was eight minutes old when Worksop killed the game as a contest, the impressive Woolley making another great run forward, finding Elliott who in turn moved it on to Husbands and he poked past Brunt for 3-0.
Woolley was in the thick of it again, ghosting into space to receive a short corner, cutting inside and drilling a low shot goalwards, Brunt saving and Jordan tucking home the rebound - only to be flagged offside.
Another quick break should have resulted in the fourth, but after Higginson had sprung Husbands with Parkgate struggling to get back, the forward dragged his shot wide of the far post.
The visitors had their first shot on target with 17 minutes remaining, a Lowe free-kick curling round the wall and safely into the arms of the waiting Jon Kennedy.
Substitute Conor Sellars came close to extending the lead with a shot on the turn from 12 yards, and although it was a routine stop for Brunt, he only gathered at the second attempt.
Another replacement, Ofosu, did add the fourth however, running clean through after a defensive error to clip the ball over Brunt, run round and stroke it into the empty net.
